Beijing Sport
University is situated in the Beijing Zhongguancun Science
Garden, with the Yuanmingyuan Relic Garden (the Old Summer
Palace) to its south, the Shangdi IT Base to its north and
covers an area of 85 acres. The attractive and scenic
physical environment has won a good reputation for the
university. Students may earn degrees in a great variety
of disciplines. Currently, the University consists of 7
colleges, 2 elite sports schools and 8 undergraduate
programs. The student population amounts to 5000.
Beijing Sport University is well-equipped for conferences
from the following aspects:
• Classroom Building – contains a 600-seat Conference Hall
with simultaneous translation and multimedia facilities;
72 classrooms with a minimum of 60 seats each.
• Office Building – contains 5 meeting halls seating
between 20 and 100 people.
• Student Cultural Center – accommodates up to 350 people
• Science Hall – accommodates up to 108 people
Accommodation
There are 9 suites and 65 standard rooms in the BSU
Guesthouse. Each room is equipped with a bathroom, TV,
telephone and air-conditioner.
Beijing Sport University will arrange accommodation in the
nearby 3-star, 4-star or 5-star hotels for the
participants of the Congress, transportation to the
congress by shuttle bus will be arranged by BSU.
Meals:
There are a few restaurants that can hold 100-400 people at
the same time on the campus.
The buffet restaurant affiliated to the BSU Guesthouse may
serve Chinese or Western breakfast and sumptuous lunch and
dinner of the Chinese style.
Meanwhile, food may be served in the 4 restaurants of
different styles in the Dinning Building on the campus.
During the Congress, ADSL will be offered free of charge to
facilitate fast exchanges with the other parts of the
world. The wireless network will be equipped in the
conference halls for the World Congress.
Well-equipped sport facilities such as tennis courts, a
swimming pool and badminton courts are available for
participants of the Congress.
